Please join us on Saturday, April 18th at 2pm at our Wicker Park studio for an Original Hot Yoga 90 Tribute Class to celebrate our inspiring teacher, dear friend, and brave warrior who left this world way too soon in 2019. Each year, on her birthday, we gather to practice together, celebrate her life, and feel her presence in the hot room.
The standing series will be led by John Marcoux and the floor series will be led by Conni via a priceless cassette recording that was discovered years ago — a gift that allows her voice and spirit to continue guiding us. This is a community class and there is no charge to attend. We simply ask that you pre-register so that we can plan accordingly.
Conni was deeply committed to finding ways to accelerate progress in cancer research and in making sure all those diagnosed with cancer have the resources and support they need. If you wish to donate, there will be an option to do so when you register for class. All donations will go directly to The Pancreatic Cancer Action Network in Conni’s name. This tribute will be especially meaningful as it will be one of our final special events in our current Wicker Park studio before we move into our brand new space — just across the street — this summer. We can’t think of a more meaningful way to honor Conni — so many amazing memories were shared with her on the 3rd floor at 1344 N. Milwaukee!
