Conscious connected breathwork means breathing in a continuous, connected rhythm — no pauses between the inhale and the exhale — guided by a facilitator and carried by intentional music.  What happens is different for everyone.  Most people feel deeply relaxed; some release emotions they didn’t know were there; some simply feel clearer and lighter than when they walked in.  However it shows up for you is exactly right.  

Your nervous system has been working overtime.  The pace, the pressure, the mental load that follows you everywhere.  The body absorbs all of it, even when the mind has moved on.  This 90-minute breathwork journey is an invitation to finally let it land.  Something that works at a level that thinking and talking simply cannot reach.  You’ll leave lighter than you arrived.  Clearer.  More yourself than you’ve felt in a while.

This is where we settle in together.  A guided meditation helps the whole room set down the day, drop out of the head and into the body, and arrive grounded, present, and ready for the journey ahead.

The Science of the Shift

In plain language, we’ll unpack what happens inside the body when stress takes hold — and why the breath can reach it.  You’ll learn what to expect during the journey.  Understanding the process is what makes it easier to trust when it begins. 

Breathwork Journey

This is where it all opens up.  Through conscious connected breathwork, your breath sets the rhythm while music and sound move through you as much as around you — tones and vibrations you don’t just hear but feel in your body.  We begin slowly and build together:  the breath deepens, energy gathers, and you rise into a peak.  From there it softens into an expansive state the thinking mind cannot reach, before easing gently back down.  Old tensions melt.  Emotions rise and dissolve.  You come out the other side lighter and clearer.  

Community Integration

You won’t carry it alone.  From the first breath to the last, you move through this alongside a room of open-minded, open-hearted people — all here for the same reason.  Afterward, there’s optional space to share what moved through you and to witness others do the same:  the kind of honest, open connection that’s rare to find.  It’s what turns a powerful personal experience into a shared one, and why you’ll leave not just restored, but part of something really special.  

Meet Chrissy Schmidt!

Chrissy came to yoga in the grip of debilitating anxiety, and what started as a search for relief opened into something far deeper. 

Her certification in Kundalini yoga became a doorway to self-exploration that eventually led her to leave a career in corporate leadership and travel east to immerse herself fully — completing 1,000+ hours of training across Kundalini, active meditation, breathwork, and nada (sound) yoga with certifications earned in India, Bali, and Chicago. 

Chrissy facilitates breathwork because it was the key to her own healing, and she creates a space where you feel genuinely met and held — whether you arrive carrying stress or searching for a deeper purpose.
